A method of achieving separation by utilizing the separation effects of different components in a chemical/biological mixture under specific conditions due to their distinct characteristics. The basic principle is to gradually pass the sample to be separated through the column filled with different affinity materials (such as silica gel, polyamide gel, etc.), and different components will be adsorbed or repelled by different filler materials under certain conditions, so as to achieve separation and purification.
1Equipment composition:It usually consists of a main column, a bottom joint, connecting pipes, flow valves, etc. The main component is the column, usually made of stainless steel or glass material, filled with fillers with special affinity inside. The bottom joint is used to fix the packing and adjust the flow rate, while the connecting pipe is used to connect other equipment. Flow path valves are used to control flow direction and flow rate, making them easy to operate and maintain.
1. This unit generally uses 3-4 columns as a group, which can be connected in series or parallel according to the user's process requirements. Each resin column is equipped with a speed regulating flow meter for easy control of the inlet flow rate.
In this unit, high-pressure liquid inlet and natural gravity liquid inlet can be selected, which is suitable for different adsorption processes.
2. The complete unit can be equipped with an automatic feeding system or manual feeding, and can be customized according to user requirements.
The entire equipment consists of columns, platforms, pipeline valves, flow meters, collection tanks, high-level tanks, conveying pumps, distribution boxes, liquid distribution tanks, etc.
3. The complete set of units is made of stainless steel 304, which meets GMP requirements.

1. Resistant to organic solvents.
When there is weak acidity, 316L stainless steel material is used.
3. Sanitary grade pipelines and valves are connected using quick installation buckles.
4. The surface can be made into mirror or matte type according to customer requirements.
5. The bracket is made of square steel profiles.
6. The column is equipped with stainless steel mesh above and below, with a mesh size of up to 1000, which can be used for liquid inlet and backwash regeneration of resin.
7. The whole machine is designed and manufactured according to GMP requirements, and can be equipped with a PLC control system to achieve automated operation.
6. Advantages
Stainless steel chromatography columns, as a widely used separation technology in the fields of biochemistry and pharmaceuticals, have the following advantages:
1. High separation efficiency: Multiple components in the mixture can be efficiently separated to obtain high-purity single components.
2. Easy to operate: Convenient to use, easy to adjust and control experimental conditions.
3. Good repeatability: Compared with other separation techniques, its separation results have better stability and higher repeatability.
4. Wide application range: Stainless steel chromatography columns are suitable for various chemical and biological separation operations and have broad application prospects.
