The difference between centrifugal fans and axial fans is that:

1. Centrifugal fans change the flow direction of the medium inside the air duct, while axial fans do not change the flow direction of the medium inside the air duct;

2. The former has a high air volume and pressure, while the latter has a low air volume and pressure;

3. The former is more complex to install, while the latter is simpler to install;

4. The former motor is usually connected to the fan through a shaft, while the latter motor is usually located inside the fan;

5. The former is often installed at the inlet and outlet of air conditioning units, boiler drums, induced draft fans, etc., while the latter is often installed in the air duct or at the front end of the air duct outlet.

Installation precautions

① Before installation, it is necessary to carefully check whether the ventilation fan has been damaged or deformed due to packaging and transportation. If there is any damage or deformation, it should be repaired before installation can proceed.

② During installation, it is important to check for any looseness in the connecting parts. The gap between the blades and the air duct should be even and not scratched or bumped.

③ The weight of the pipeline connecting the air outlet should not be borne by the air duct of the fan, and additional support should be added during installation.

④ A collector must be installed at the inlet of the ventilation fan, and if possible, it is best to install a protective wire mesh.

⑤ The fan base must be naturally connected to the foundation plane, and it is not allowed to forcefully connect the base by knocking it to prevent deformation of the base. During installation, the base should be calibrated, iron pads should be added, the basic horizontal position should be maintained, and then the anchor bolts should be tightened.

⑥ After installation, it is necessary to conduct a test and wait for normal operation before it can be officially used.
