Overview

Before putting the low-noise CFZ series energy-saving transformer cooling fan into operation, check whether the power wiring is correct and whether the impeller rotates flexibly without jamming. Follow the automatic control logic of "high temperature start, low temperature stop".

Low noise CFZ series energy-saving transformer cooling fan

1、 Product Overview

Oil immersed transformer cooling fanTransformer fan (usually abbreviated as transformer fan or cooling fan) is a key auxiliary equipment for large oil immersed power transformers. Its core function is to accelerate the cooling efficiency of transformer radiators by forcing air convection, thereby taking away a large amount of heat generated by iron and copper losses during transformer operation, ensuring that the temperature of transformer windings and insulation oil is always maintained within a safe range.

Simply put, a transformer is like a person's heart, producing a large amount of "heat" when working under high voltage. A cooling fan is an important device equipped with an "air conditioner" or "fan" to prevent damage caused by "heatstroke" (overheating), ensuring the safe operation of transformers, extending their service life, and improving their overload capacity.

IIworking principle

Its working principle is based on the heat dissipation principle of "forced oil circulation air cooling", which is an indirect cooling process:

1. Internal oil circulationThe heat generated during the operation of the transformer is first absorbed by the internal insulation oil. After being heated, the oil density decreases and naturally flows upwards, entering the radiator tube cluster outside the transformer.

2. External air coolingThe cooling fan is installed below or on the side of the radiator. When the fan is started, it generates a strong airflow that blows vertically or horizontally over the surface of the radiator's heat dissipation pipes.

3. heat exchangeEfficient heat exchange occurs between the airflow and the surface of the heat dissipation tube, quickly removing the heat from the high-temperature insulation oil in the tube.

4. circulating coolingAfter being cooled, the temperature of the oil decreases, the density increases, it naturally sinks, flows back to the bottom of the transformer oil tank, absorbs heat again, and forms a closed cooling circuit with natural circulation (or assisted by an oil pump for forced circulation).

In this way, the fan greatly enhances the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator, allowing the transformer to withstand greater loads.
