A multifunctional heat sealer, also known as a heat sealer or plastic sealer, is a device that uses heat and pressure to seal plastic packaging bags using sealing rolls coated with hot melt adhesive (such as vest bags, composite film bags, etc.) or pre made sealing strips. It has evolved from a single sealing function to a modern packaging equipment that integrates multiple functions such as sealing, cutting, coding, and counting.
Introduction to Multi functional Heat Sealing Cutting Tools
Multi functional heat sealing machine tool, also known as heat sealing machine or plastic sealing machine, is a device that uses heat and pressure to seal plastic packaging bags through sealing rolls (such as vest bags, composite film bags, etc.) or prefabricated sealing strips coated with hot melt adhesive. It has evolved from a single sealing function to a modern packaging equipment that integrates multiple functions such as sealing, cutting, coding, and counting.
Its working principle is simple: the internal heating element conducts high temperature to the heat sealing knife (or heat sealing strip). When the user places the plastic bag mouth on the heat sealing knife and presses the handle (or the device runs automatically), under the set temperature and pressure, the plastic film is melted and bonded together, and after cooling, a strong seal is formed.
Main functions
The "multifunctionality" of multifunctional heat sealing machine cutting tools is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Core function: Heat sealing
Ordinary sealing: The most basic function is to firmly seal the opening of various plastic packaging bags (such as PE, PP, CPP, composite film, etc.) to prevent moisture, oxidation, and leakage of the contents.
Continuous sealing: For automated or semi-automatic models, products can be continuously sealed, greatly improving production efficiency and commonly used in production lines.
2. Auxiliary and value-added functions
Cutting function: At the same time or after completing the sealing, use the built-in cutter to cut the bag from the roll film, or trim off excess bag openings to make the sealing edge neat and beautiful. This is one of the most common 'multifunctionalities'.
Printing/coding function: Some heat sealers integrate date stamps or programmable ink wheel coding systems on the heat seal. At the same time as sealing, the production date, shelf life, batch number and other information can be clearly printed on the sealing edge, achieving dual-use of one machine.
Cooling function: Advanced models are equipped with air or water cooling systems, which quickly cool and shape the sealing area after heat sealing, making the sealing smoother and more secure, especially suitable for thick films or easily deformed materials.
Pressure and temperature regulation: The temperature and pressure of the heat seal can be precisely adjusted according to the thickness and material of the packaging material to ensure the best sealing quality, avoiding burning through due to high temperature or sealing failure due to low temperature.
Counting function: Built in counter that can record the number of products that have been sealed, facilitating production management and inventory statistics.
