Overview

This testing machine can simulate the hazards caused by sunlight, rain, and condensation. It uses fluorescent ultraviolet lamps to simulate sunlight exposure and sprays tap water or distilled water to simulate the effect of rain. The tested material is placed in a light cycle program at a certain temperature for testing. This machine can test the hazards that occur outdoors for months or years in a matter of days or weeks. The types of hazards include fading, discoloration, loss of light, powdering, cracking, turbidity, bubbles, brittleness, reduced strength, peeling, decay, and oxidation.
