Operation steps:

1. Handheld instrument, screw the sensor probe into the body socket.

2. Press the power switch ON/OFF, and the number displayed on the LCD screen will be within 00.0 ± 0.5. If it is not within this range, slowly adjust the zero adjustment knob (ZERO) to display the number within 00.0 ± 0.5. Press the S/D button to switch between single and double precision.

3. Insert the probe into the test object to ensure good contact between the test object and the probe. After the value stabilizes, the displayed number is the moisture value of the test object

4. Numerical verification: When there is an error in the measured value, please turn the dial. For example, if the actual moisture content of the tested substance is 15% and the displayed value is 14% using a 7-speed test, rotate the dial clockwise to make the display screen show 15%, and then check the position indicated by the dial. When testing similar substances in the future, select this gear. If the displayed value is greater than the actual moisture value, rotate the dial counterclockwise to bring the value to the actual moisture value; Also note down this gear, no need to verify it in the future.

3The moisture meter is a contact type measuring instrument, and the measurement premise is that the long needle probe of the instrument should be in full contact with the measured object as much as possible.
4When there is no display or the zero value cannot be adjusted within ± 00.5, and the display number jumps, the battery should be replaced at this time. The battery is located below the back of the instrument. Unscrew the screws on the battery cover, remove the old battery, and replace it with a new one. If the battery cannot be zeroed after replacement, please open the battery back cover one by one and find the tail zeroing knob,Use a flat screwdriver to adjust the potentiometer in the hole, so that the zero position of the instrument is within 00.5.
5. If the instrument is not used for a long time, the battery should be removed to prevent damage to the instrument caused by battery leakage.
