Overview of the advantages of infrared thermometers
This infrared thermometer is equipped with 2-point laser aiming to measure surface temperature accurately and quickly (2 measurements per second). The summary of all product advantages is as follows:
- High resolution processor provides more accurate measurement readings (resolution 0.1 ° C)
- 30:1 optical resolution enables precise measurement of small target objects at long distances (1 m measurement distance=36 mm measured area diameter)
- Infrared thermometer with 2-point laser aiming: precise positioning of the measured area (=surface between two laser aiming points)
- 2 customizable alarm limits
- Sound and light alarm triggered beyond the time limit
- Display maximum/minimum temperature values and reading retention function (freeze the previous measurement reading)
- An external contact temperature probe can be used to determine the emissivity of a surface or measure other surface temperatures if needed
- Pistol style design, easy to operate (can be operated with one hand)
- Clear backlit display screen
Expansion of External Temperature Probe Function
The testo 830-T4 infrared thermometer can be optionally connected to an external temperature probe to achieve non-contact surface temperature measurement through infrared and contact temperature measurement through another channel (such as for comparison). We offer a wide range of different types of thermocouple temperature probes for optional use, such as air temperature probes, liquid and semi-solid medium temperature probes, and surface temperature probes.
Comparative testing with contact surface temperature probes can help determine the emissivity of object surfaces. Input and set the accurate emissivity in the infrared thermometer to achieve the most precise infrared measurement value.
When encountering surfaces with extremely low emissivity, we recommend using reflective stickers (optional) or selecting contact surface probes (optional) for temperature measurement. The product includes
