The professional high-precision differential pressure measuring instrument testo 521-1 is suitable for micro differential pressure measurement in the HVAC field, especially for detecting pressure drop at both ends of filters, checking fans and ventilation units. Connecting pitot tubes can be used for measuring wind speed in ventilation ducts or process air (measurement range 5 to 100m/s)
The differential pressure measuring instrument is equipped with a differential pressure sensor with temperature compensation function, achieving a measurement accuracy of 0.2% across the entire range. In addition, the measuring instrument has two external interfaces for connecting optional probes. This means that you can expand the differential pressure gauge to more application areas. The following probes are available for selection:
-
Differential pressure measuring probe
-
Absolute pressure measuring probe
-
Relative pressure measuring probe
-
Temperature probe (such as surface probe or piercing/immersion probe)
Advantages of testo 521-1 professional differential pressure measuring instrument
The built-in differential pressure sensor enables the testo 521-1 to calculate wind speed and air volume when connected to a separately ordered pitot tube. The differential pressure measuring instrument can also provide time and multi-point average calculation functions.
In addition, long-term monitoring has become possible: measurement data can be saved separately or as measurement programs. Users can customize the measurement frequency and number of measurement points. The dynamic measurement is saved in the differential pressure measuring instrument with a measurement interval of 0.04s.
The optional ComSoft software helps you achieve online measurement through a computer, save measurement data, and analyze it on the computer. You can also directly print measurement data on site through the optional Detu infrared printer.
You can choose the following units for pressure measurement: mbar, hPa, bar, Pa, kPa, inH2O, mmH2O, torr, and psi. The average value, final measurement value, minimum/maximum value can all be switched on the screen by pressing the button.
