Four easy steps to complete the measurement:

Step 1: Press the start button to turn on the device (please ensure that the sensor protection door is open)
Step 2: Select measurement parameters
1. Select the measurement parameter Ra/Rz according to Ra/Rz/Cal;
2. Select the sampling length and evaluation length according to GB1031-83 "Surface roughness parameters and their values"
Step 3: Indication Calibration (easily done by left clicking and middle clicking in indication calibration state)
Note: Calibration of indication is not a necessary measurement step
Step 4: Press the start button to start measuring and display the measurement results (automatically shut down after 30 seconds)

Usage tips:

1. Long press the left button in non measurement state to enter the calibration state of the displayed value;
2. Press the start button to push out the indication calibration status;
3. Press and hold the middle button to easily convert between metric and imperial systems;
4. Use the middle button to select the sampling length in sequence
