The TH 2000 personal audio meter is a wearable personal measurement monitoring device. This instrument is mainly used for personal metrological monitoring of personnel in fields such as isotope applications, gamma irradiation, X-ray non-destructive testing, X-ray diagnosis, accelerators, and cobalt therapy sources.

Due to its high sensitivity, the instrument also responds to environmental background radiation. The instrument is designed with sound and light circuits, which indicate the strength of the radiation field through the frequency of sound and flash. When the radiation level is exceeded, a continuous sound and flash alarm signal is emitted together. When the counting tube is blocked, the instrument will still emit a continuous sound and light alarm. Due to its low power consumption, multiple functions, and small size, the instrument has been widely used.
