Plate vacuum dryer is a method of heating and drying the material to be dried under vacuum conditions. It uses a vacuum pump to extract air and moisture, keeping the working chamber in a vacuum state, greatly accelerating the drying rate of materials, and also saving energy. Vacuum drying equipment is divided into static drying and dynamic drying machines.

Working principle and characteristics:

Pure water has the maximum vaporization rate when boiling. Under normal pressure, pure water begins to boil at around 100 ° C. Under vacuum conditions, due to the water vapor partial pressure in the system being much lower than the water vapor partial pressure on the material surface, the boiling point of water is below 100 ° C. For example, when the surface drops to -0.07 MPa, water begins to boil at 70 ° C. -As a general rule, the higher the vacuum degree, the lower the boiling point of water. In the vacuum dryer, the vaporized water can be quickly removed by the vacuum generated, so even at lower operating temperatures, this dryer still has a large drying capacity.

When the equipment is running, the material is in a static state, which is conducive to maintaining the initial shape of the material, intermittent operation, and can adjust the process conditions at any time. This equipment is manually loaded and unloaded.
