PS-C1 single channel sediment trap

Single channel sediment trapThe design is mainly used for automatic collection of sediments from relatively large vertical particle flows in berths, continental shelves, and aquatic environments. This instrument does not require heavy fixed cables and can be easily installed and retracted on smaller ships. The clamp devices on both sides make it easier to continuously attach to the same cable in the vertical direction.

In order to prevent the collected sediment from being washed away from the upper part of the collection cylinder, each collector is equipped with a detachable soft leather mesh at the opening.

The water above the collection bottle can be discharged through two drainage valves. After the sampler is collected, you can check from the bottom of the transparent funnel whether there is any sediment that has been resuspended in the collection bottle.
