The advantages of using a three-way backwash valve in the filter system are:
Reduce valve energy consumption (using pipeline pressure or compressed air drive). Can be equipped with AC/DC long-term charged and instantaneous steady-state solenoid valves. Low power solenoid valves can also be selected.
The minimum number of valves is required to meet the backwash requirements of each filtration unit.
No need to consider synchronous operation of multiple valves (one valve needs to be closed while another valve needs to be opened) - all functions are integrated into one three-way backwash valve.
