Laboratory algae analyzer(Algae Lab Analyzer is a device specifically designed for laboratories to classify various types of algae and quantitatively detect their concentrations. It can achieve:

• Classify algae and quantitatively detect the concentration and activity of each category, including green algae, blue-green algae, diatoms/dinoflagellates, and cryptic algae. Users can add up to 8 types of algae

• Detect the total concentration of chlorophyll a

Through software, algae classification and counting can be achieved to determine the activity of chlorophyll photosynthesis. Compared with traditional cultivation and microscopic detection methods, the analysis is faster (analyzing a sample in 3 minutes), the operation is simpler, greatly reducing the workload of algae analysis and effectively reducing human errors.

Has * detection reliability, and the detection results have * correlation (R2>0.93) compared to classical HPLC analysis methods.

Detection Principle

Algae with similar photosynthetic pigment compositions have similar response fluorescence spectra to excitation light of multiple set wavelengths. Due to the presence of characteristic pigments, there are significant differences in the fluorescence spectra of different groups of algae. Based on the respective characteristic spectra and intensities of algae, algae can be classified and their concentrations can be quantitatively detected.
