Under the conditions specified in the national standard GB/T261-2008, the instrument places the sample into a test cup and heats the test cup containing the test oil. The lowest temperature at which the condensed synthesis gas formed by the petroleum vapor and the surrounding air ignites upon contact with the flame is used as the flash point.
The computer sends instructions through the I/O port based on the collected temperature changes to control the heater, causing the temperature of the test oil to rise at a certain rate. The mixing speed, lid opening ignition, ignition time, flash point detection, etc. are all automatically controlled. When flash fire is detected, the computer system stops data collection, displays the flash fire temperature, prints the recorded results, stops heating, turns off the flame, and the boom automatically lifts, ending the test.
