Overview

The Easylaser Flatness Measuring Instrument E910 is suitable for measuring the flatness (including internal inclination) of tower flanges in all wind power industries. In the manufacturing process of tower tubes in the wind power industry, flange flatness (including internal inclination) is a very important geometric indicator, which will directly affect the degree of bonding between the two flanges and the pre tightening state of the tower tube. In order to adapt to the rapidly developing wind power industry in China, this standard is specially formulated. For reference by engineering and technical personnel in the industry.

1. Installation of transmitter

  • Place the rotating head of the transmitter at the center of the chassis;

2. Installation of transmitter

  • Rotate the longitudinal weld seam of the tower to the 6 o'clock position;
  • Place the transmitter at around 4:30, with the fulcrum facing outward and the two adjustment knobs facing inward.

3. Determination of Measurement Density

  • The so-called density measurement refers to how many points are measured on the flange. Excessive measurement density increases unnecessary workload; The measurement density is too low to fully reflect the changes and trends in the flatness of the flange, and may even miss peak points. Therefore, it is very important to measure the density reasonably.

4. Number of measurement points

  • Starting from the weld seam, number them clockwise in sequence;

5. Rough adjustment of laser surface

  • The purpose is to provide a laser surface that is approximately parallel to the tested flange;

  • Using the three-point method, adjust the laser at all three points to the center of the target

Determination of Three Points

  • 1 point is the near point, try to get as close as possible to the laser emitter fulcrum;
  • Point 2 is the intersection point between the extension line of knob A and the fulcrum and the outer side of the flange;
  • 3 points are the intersection of the extension line of knob B and the fulcrum with the outer side of the flange;
  • First, place the laser detector at point 1;
  • Move the probe up and down to make the laser land in the center of the PSD Fix two screws so that they cannot slide on the probe rod;
  • Place two targets close together so that the laser completely passes through the middle gap.
  • Place the target at 2 points, adjust the B knob so that the laser falls into the middle gap;
  • Place the target at 3 o'clock and adjust knob A to make the laser fall into the middle gap.

6. Fine tuning of laser surface (laser fine tuning is required for the top flange, not for other flanges)

  • The purpose is to provide a laser surface that is approximately parallel to the tested flange;
  • Using the three-point method, control the detector readings at the three points within the range of 0-0.2;
  • Place E7 at point 1, select OK to enter the measurement program, and press 0 to set the reading at that point to zero;
  • Place E7 at 2 o'clock and adjust knob B to read within the range of 0-0.2;
  • Place E7 at 3 o'clock and adjust knob A to read within the range of 0-0.2;
  • Repeat the above steps to ensure that all three readings are within the range of 0-0.2. (mnemonic: zero at the near point, zero at the far point)

7. Adjustment knob for laser emitter

Adjustment knob

  • Coarse adjustment knob, used for coarse adjustment
    • Lock the knob, only lock the coarse adjustment knob, not the fine adjustment knob;
  • Check the fine adjustment knob and turn it to the normal position, 2.5mm away from the coarse adjustment knob (note!!).
  • Loosen the locking knob;
  • Adjust the coarse adjustment knob and visually adjust the laser to the center gap of the target;
  • Fixed locking knob;
  • Fine tuning knob, used for precise adjustment
    • Check the locking knob to confirm that it has been locked;
  • Monitor with the host, adjust the fine-tuning knob to achieve the desired data;
  • Be careful not to exceed a large stroke of 5.5mm, otherwise it may cause damage to the fine teeth during adjustment.

8. Installation of laser detector

  • The detector needs to be locked on the probe rod
  • When measuring the outer ring, the top pin points towards the outer ring; When measuring the inner ring, the top pin points towards the inner ring.

9. Measurement process

  • Select the program and press the OK button to enter the measurement program;
  • Enter the number of measurement cycles and press OK
  • Enter the number of measurement points for each circle and press OK
  • Angle decomposition (automatic angle decomposition does not require input)
  • Select clockwise measurement direction (left and right keys can switch measurement direction)
  • Enter the inner diameter and outer diameter separately

Easylaser Flatness Measuring Instrument E910frequently asked questions

1. Cleaning

For good measurement results, it is important to keep the instrument (especially the PSD reading area of the detector) clean and free of fingerprints. It can be cleaned with suede.

2. Battery

Most types of 4-cell No.2 dry batteries can be used, including rechargeable batteries. But alkaline batteries have better performance. If not used for a long time, the battery should be taken out.

3. When unable to power on, please check:

  • The built-in battery is dead;
  • Is the installation polarity of the battery correct when only using dry batteries;
  • Replace the battery.

4. When there is no laser, please check: replace the battery.

5. When no data is displayed on the host, please check:

  • Check if there is a laser;
  • Is the laser hitting the PSD;
  • Is Bluetooth connected.

6. When the data is unstable, please check:

  • Fixed screws on structural components;
  • Adjust the laser to leave the edge of the PSD reading area;
  • Improve filtering settings.

7. Adjust screw maintenance

Adjust the screws on the chassis every two months, clean the iron filings on the threads with a brush, and soak them in kerosene for one to two hours.

8. When charging, it is necessary to connect the host and receiver with cables and charge them simultaneously to avoid the loss of the built-in battery in the receiver.
