Dry gas generator using pressure shear principle

The PSD series is designed specifically for calibration applications and comes with two molecular sieve drying cylinders that operate based on the principle of pressure shear. Drying cylinders are used alternately, with a portion of the dry air coming out of the drying cylinder being used to blow and regenerate another drying cylinder. Under pressure, moisture is absorbed, while under atmospheric pressure, it dries and regenerates, hence it is called pressure shear. The drying cylinder automatically switches within two minutes. The PSD-2 dryer operates continuously, and the lifespan of the desiccant is usually up to five years.
