The Cole Parmer series precision top mounted balance has a large weighing surface and can hold samples of various sizes. The balance uses calibration weights for internal or external calibration. The 4-1/4 "x 2-1/2" color capacitive touch screen display has a status bar, weighing result window, editable information fields, and editable toolbar. The area below the weight indicator display can be customized to meet your personal programming needs.

Two built-in infrared (IR) proximity sensors can be programmed with different functions for each operating mode, enabling non-contact balance control while minimizing button cross contamination and wear to the greatest extent possible.

The working modes include weighing, part counting, weight checking, metering, percentage weighing, solid density, liquid density, animal weighing, statistics, peak holding, and formulation. Other features include adjustable filter level settings, quick access keys, scale peeling, balance zeroing, automatic shutdown, and backlight shutdown time.

The balance has multiple databases for recording products, users, packaging, customers, formulas, formula reports, environmental conditions, and weighing. Only users with appropriate access permissions can add new records, export data, import data, delete records, and print saved data. Two USB ports, two RS-232 interfaces, Ethernet and Wi Fi ports provide external connections to computers or printers to achieve GLP/GMP compliant output. The automatic GLP testing function provides an enhanced balance summary to help evaluate the causes of weighing errors during operation and diagnosis.
