Measure the melting points of three samples at once to improve efficiency. Easy to follow instructions are printed directly on the device. Place the sample into a melting point tube and then insert it into an aluminum block. Manually set the heating rate between 1 ° C and 20 ° C per minute, up to a maximum of 250 ° C. Lowering the heating rate as you approach the expected melting point temperature will improve the accuracy of readings. Observe the sample through a magnifying glass until melting occurs, and read the melting temperature from a thermometer.

The device is equipped with an open melting point tube. One end should be sealed with a native burner; Or purchase sealed optional melting point tubes separately. Order optional brass cooling plugs to accelerate cooling speed when multiple runs are required.
