The CTS-23A (imported oscilloscope tube) ultrasonic flaw detector is a portable A-type pulse reflection ultrasonic flaw detector that can be powered by alternating current or batteries. The instrument has a wideband amplifier with variable frequency band, a time base circuit with wide scanning range, and a high-precision attenuator with fine adjustment and fine-tuning; The instrument adopts a high brightness, internally calibrated rectangular oscilloscope tube. High sensitivity, good stability, clear waveform, small size, light weight, low power consumption, and easy operation for flaw detection. The instrument has an alarm function, which can separately alarm for "incoming wave" or "lost wave" inside the gate. The instrument is suitable for non-destructive testing of metals such as welds and forgings, as well as some non-metallic materials. It is particularly suitable for high-resolution near area testing and can be used as a standardized instrument for qualification assessment of non-destructive testing personnel.
