1. For the oil containing part, acid precipitation and water washing are used to obtain waste oil, and the optimal amount of acid added during the acid precipitation process is to control the pH value between 2-3. After oil-water separation, the water portion is mixed with the washing water and adjusted in the water quality and quantity through a regulating tank. It is then pumped to a coagulation air flotation tank to remove most of the SS, oil, and some organic matter before undergoing biochemical treatment. Process flow of oil pretreatment and wastewater treatment for catering wastewater

Pre treatment system: The regulating tank and coagulation air flotation tank mainly stabilize the water quality and quantity, and remove or reduce organic and inorganic substances in the wastewater that affect subsequent biochemical treatment. Due to the low pH value and high oil content of the incoming wastewater, which belongs to acidic wastewater, alkaline neutralization and coagulation gas flotation are used here.

SBR tank is mainly used to remove dissolved organic substances from wastewater. To enhance the stability and impact resistance of the biochemical treatment system, SBR (sequencing batch reactor) and PAcT (feed activated sludge process) are adopted.

Adding powdered activated carbon to the aeration tank can remove certain dissolved organic compounds that cannot be removed by biochemical methods, and improve the removal efficiency of COD and BOD. Sludge disposal adopts the method of sludge concentration and mechanical dewatering. The supernatant from the concentration tank is sent to the regulating tank for further processing, and the mud cake is transported for further proper disposal.

2. Water regeneration feed technology scheme

Collect hygienic and fresh urban catering wastewater in a centralized manner, first dehydrate and de oil it, then dry and sterilize the solid components, and finally produce solid feed through mechanical processing. The simple process is shown in Figure 3:

Dehydration and degreasing: Catering wastewater is mainly composed of solid and liquid components. In this process, natural precipitation or mechanical filtration is used for solid and liquid separation. The dehydration and oil removal of catering wastewater adopt a relatively simple natural precipitation method, which utilizes the weight and fluidity of the liquid itself, and uses a filter to achieve the separation of solids and liquids. To improve filtration efficiency, layered water filtration can be considered, with the filter mesh increasing from large to small.

Sorting: After dehydration and degreasing, there are still some inedible impurities in the catering wastewater, such as wooden chopsticks, plastic products, metals, paper, etc., which must be removed before processing. The sorting system mainly utilizes the specific gravity, volume, and magnetism of substances, and adopts continuous sorting methods such as repeated mechanization and magnetic separation (with appropriate assistance of magnetic separation, wind separation, and manual sorting for special substances) to separate impurities.

Drying: Microwave heating drying method is chosen here. The advantage of this method is that it can achieve heating effect in a short period of time, with uniform heating, and can kill bacteria at lower temperatures. And it will not produce wastewater, exhaust gas, or waste.
