The KR-MDZ DC insulation monitoring and grounding point positioning device plays an extremely important role in DC systems. Operational practice has proven that the hazards of DC system grounding not only cause misoperation and refusal of relay protection devices, but also lead to misoperation and refusal of primary equipment controlled by DC, seriously endangering the safe and stable operation of the power system. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the insulation status of the DC system to ground in real-time online, and promptly eliminate faults when grounding occurs. The KR-MDZKR-MDZ DC insulation monitoring and grounding point positioning device developed by our company detects bus voltage and insulation resistance measurement, collects positive and negative ground voltages normally, accumulates them, and digitally displays the bus voltage value. At the same time, a bias resistor is put into the device to collect the positive and negative ground voltages for the second time, and calculate the insulation resistance of the positive and negative busbars to ground. When the insulation resistance is lower than the set value, a grounding alarm signal is issued. And by inputting low-frequency signals, it can automatically search for the grounding branch and display the grounding branch and resistance value. And the specific grounding point can be found through the caliper receiver. The insulation alarm information can be uploaded to the upper computer through RS485 communication. For a system where two sets of DC systems are interconnected through busbars, when the busbars are closed, both sets of DC insulation monitoring and grounding point positioning devices are detecting the same system. Since each set of devices calculates the insulation through bias resistors during insulation monitoring, the two sets of devices interfere with each other and cannot work properly. The KR-MDZ DC insulation monitoring and grounding point positioning device is designed with a dedicated "handshake protocol" to completely solve the problem of mutual interference between multiple sets of DC insulation monitoring and grounding point positioning devices in the same system.
