Background of the Proposal

As the main power supply line of electrified railways, the substation power supply line is an outdoor equipment that is often affected by harsh weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice, frost, etc. In addition, the load on the line moves and changes along the contact line with the operation of electric locomotives, which has a natural and inevitable connection with various departments of the railway. The power supply line may be affected by external forces, such as bending and reverse twisting in the middle of the stranded wire, resulting in changes in the carrying current capacity. Such changes are often accompanied by rapid temperature changes, and can cause irreparable damage to local lines. The time and location of this phenomenon are random and unstable. If these hidden dangers cannot be detected in a timely manner, it will cause significant safety hazards to the entire electrified railway power supply system.

The general solution for power lines is to use equipment and line maintenance and inspection. Some stations have introduced inspection management systems, including personnel management, equipment inspection, standardized defect description, record data management, retrieval, and report generation. But the work efficiency is still at a relatively low level, and the operating costs are high, resulting in low fault handling efficiency.

Solution Overview

In order to solve the maintenance related problems of electrified railway lines, we propose to add temperature comprehensive monitoring on the basis of installing an electrical power online monitoring system on electrified railway lines. The power online monitoring system adopts the power comprehensive monitoring system independently designed and developed by Yuxin Intelligent, while the electrified railway temperature comprehensive monitoring system obtains data by introducing innovative card line probe type temperature sensors, realizes remote monitoring of data through wireless communication and remote GPRS communication in the area, and performs data comprehensive processing and analysis to achieve functions such as alarm and warning.

1. Induction probe design

In this scheme, in order to achieve fast and accurate acquisition of the actual temperature of the circuit, a specialized temperature sensor has been designed and developed. Through innovative design and improvement of the sensing probe, the installation is convenient, fast, low-cost, temperature sensing is rapid, and the accuracy is high.

Material used: The temperature sensing probe is made of metal material, which is a good conductor of heat.

Structural design: The probe part is combined with the power supply line structure to form an open card type, which is specifically used for temperature detection in the circuit. It is easy to install, has a small workload, and has low operating costs.

Size design: Designed according to the common size of the power supply line in the power supply station, made of thin metal sheets, with a certain degree of elasticity, compatible with a wide range of wire diameters, and will not affect the line itself.

2. Design of Micro Temperature Collector

A miniature temperature collector is a comprehensive device that includes temperature sensors for sensing, collecting, processing, and transmitting temperature data. It adopts a miniaturized design to meet installation requirements.

3. Location Concentrator

As the upper end of the micro temperature collector, it summarizes and comprehensively processes the information of various collectors within the effective range, and has a built-in GPRS communication unit to achieve communication with the backend.

4. Human computer interaction terminal

According to system requirements, data can be uploaded to the backend software, which can be carried by PC terminals or mobile phones. By connecting to the public network, temperature data for various regions, locations, and routes can be obtained, and it also has multi-dimensional, comprehensive analysis, and statistical organization functions.
