DL2019 nitrate/nitrite automatic online analyzer

Product Details

product overview

The development of DL2019 nitrate/nitrite automatic online analyzer is a product of a major national water special project, which combines advanced sequential injection technology with photometric technology to detect the content of nitrate and nitrite in water. This instrument can achieve real-time, rapid, and accurate analysis of nitrate/nitrite content in water quality.

Working principle

The DL2019 nitrate/nitrite fully automatic online analyzer uses a combination of sequential injection technology and photometry for analysis. The computer automatically controls water sample collection, reaction measurement, data processing, and data transmission to quickly and continuously complete the entire process of hexavalent chromium analysis in wastewater. The instrument uses N - (1-naphthyl) - ethylenediamine spectrophotometry combined with sequential injection technology to determine nitrate/nitrite in water quality. The content of nitrite and nitrate is determined in two steps:

(1) The peristaltic pump transfers water samples to the colorimetric cell through the switching of eight position sequential valves. Acid solution is added to adjust the pH value of the solution to be acidic. The nitrite ions in the water sample undergo diazotization and coupling color reaction with the color reagent N - (1-naphthyl) - ethylenediamine hydrochloride under certain acidity conditions, forming a rose red azo pigment. The photoelectric colorimetric device measures and records the change in the intensity of the light transmitted by the reaction complex after absorbing specific wavelengths of light in the colorimetric cell, obtaining the corresponding peak height response value, and thus measuring the content of nitrite ions. After sampling, the waste liquid is discharged and the colorimetric cell is cleaned.

(2) The peristaltic pump once again transfers the water sample to the colorimetric cell through the switching of the eight position sequential valve. Alkali solution is added to adjust the pH value of the solution to be alkaline, reducing agent is added to reduce nitrate ions to nitrite ions, and then acid solution is added to adjust the pH value of the solution to be acidic. The nitrite ions in the water sample undergo diazotization and coupling color reaction with the colorimetric agent N - (1-naphthyl) - ethylenediamine hydrochloride under certain acidity conditions, forming a rose red azo pigment. The reaction complex of the colorimetric cell is measured and recorded by a photoelectric colorimetric device to obtain the response value with corresponding peak height after absorbing specific wavelength light, and the total content of nitrite ions is measured. Using subtraction method, subtract the content of nitrite ions measured in the first step to obtain the content of nitrate ions.

application area

Online rapid monitoring of nitrate/nitrite at pollution source discharge outlets and discharge outlets of sewage treatment facilities in key industries

Online monitoring of surface water.

It can be widely used in water environment automatic monitoring stations, regional water boundary points, water quality analysis rooms, and environmental regulatory agencies at all levels to monitor water environment.
