The GE RSS-131 high-pressure ionization chamber (HPIC) is widely recognized as a flagship instrument for measuring environmental gamma ray dose rates, with excellent response to both gamma rays and cosmic rays. GE/Reuters Stokes combines a high-pressure ionization chamber with the most advanced microprocessor (μ P) and electrostatic meter, allowing the instrument to have a range that can be extended to (0-10R/h) and excellent temperature characteristics. Additional analog inputs from other sensors such as wind speed, direction, rainfall, and atmospheric pressure can also be obtained, providing the most cost-effective instrument for monitoring gamma total dose rates.
