1. Overview
BLD510 is a digital universal DC brushless driver produced by our company. The drive adopts the latest speed PID and anti vibration algorithm internally, which has the characteristics of high speed stability, large speed ratio, and low vibration. There are abundant external interfaces that can be adjusted by pulse width, voltage, and frequency, making control more convenient.
The driver voltage is DC 20V-50V, with a maximum continuous current of 10A and a maximum speed of 3000RPM.

3. Electrical parameters

1. Power motor interface

Ensure that the power cord is wired correctly, as reversing the power cord can cause damage or burnout to the driver.

According to the motor manual, ensure that the UVW wires correspond one-to-one. Incorrect connection of the UVW wires can cause the motor to malfunction or experience excessive current during operation.
2. Hall signal interface

According to the motor manual, ensure that the Hall wires correspond one-to-one. Incorrect connection of the Hall wires can cause the motor to malfunction or experience excessive current during operation.
3. Control signal interface


The driver can adopt various speed regulation and control methods, and the specific circuit and wiring methods are as follows:
3.1 Adjustable resistor speed regulation

The adjustable resistance value is best between 5K-10K. Before connecting the adjustable resistor, adjust it to the middle position and confirm the order of the two ends and the middle tap before wiring.
If the adjustable resistor is not adjusted to the middle position or if the resistor is adjusted incorrectly, it can cause a short circuit between 5V and GND. If the driver power green light goes out or flashes, immediately cut off the power and check the wiring.
3.2 External 0-10V voltage speed regulation

When inputting external voltage, it is necessary to ensure that the SV terminal voltage does not exceed 5V at the maximum external voltage, otherwise it will burn out the internal circuit of the driver. As shown in the above figure, using 5.1K voltage division, when the external input is 10V, the SV terminal voltage is 5V.
3.3 PWM duty cycle speed regulation

PWM duty cycle speed regulation, the input high-level amplitude cannot exceed 5V. If PLC control or other voltage control is used, please refer to the circuit connection method in 3.2.
The PWM duty cycle is from 0 to 100%, and the input frequency is between 1K and 20K.
3.4 Direction control signal

The directional input adopts optocoupler isolation, and the input voltage is 5V. If it exceeds 5V, a current limiting resistor R must be connected in series. The resistance value of R is shown in the table below.

3.5 Alarm output signal

The alarm output adopts optocoupler isolation output, and a pull-up resistor should be added from ALM to the controller end, as shown in the above figure. The alarm signal is low and effective.
3.6 Start stop signal
The EN signal is low and effective. When connected to GND, the motor starts running. When disconnected from GND or connected to 5V voltage, the motor stops.
3.7 Typical Wiring Diagram


The external dimensions of the driver are 118 × 75 × 34mm, as shown in the external dimension diagram. Pay attention to leaving more than 10CM of space for heat dissipation. During installation, it should be tightly attached to the metal cabinet to facilitate heat dissipation.
