1、 Working principle:
5L high-speed centrifugal spray dryerAfter initial, intermediate, and high-efficiency filtration, the air enters the air heater. The heating methods of the air heater include hot air stove or electric heating+steam heating, etc. When the air is heated to the set temperature, it enters the hot air distributor in a tangential direction. The air, after being treated by the hot air distributor, uniformly and helically enters the drying chamber. At the same time, the material liquid is atomized into 20-60um droplets by the atomizer. When the droplets come into contact with the hot air, they quickly vaporize and dry into powder or granular products. Dry powder or granular products fall onto the four walls of the cone in the drying chamber and slide to the bottom of the cone to enter the powder accumulation cylinder (or directly collect materials using a cyclone separator). A small amount of fine powder enters the cyclone separator with air for separation. Finally, the exhaust gas is discharged from the fan outlet or enters the water foam dust collector before being discharged, and the material will not be lost.
The machine adopts parallel flow spray drying, and the droplets flow in the same direction as the hot air. Although the temperature of hot air is high, because the hot air enters the drying chamber and immediately contacts with spray droplets, the temperature in the drying chamber drops sharply from top to bottom, and the materials will not be overheated, which is particularly suitable for drying heat sensitive materials. The temperature of the discharged product is generally around 60 ℃.
The inner cylinder, pipelines, and all contact material components of this unit are made of SUS304 stainless steel material (materials can also be made according to customer requirements).
This series of spray dryers can usually be used for drying liquid materials with a moisture content of 50% -80%. Even if the moisture content of special materials is up to 90%, they can be dried into powder and granular products without concentration.

2、 Characteristics of the dryer:

operating procedure

The materials to be spray need to be emulsified and homogenized by homogenizer and passed through 80 mesh screen (to avoid blocking the atomizer and pipeline), and placed in stainless steel barrel for standby. In addition, a bucket of tap water is connected to clean the atomizer and spray chamber. Install the feed tube of the peristaltic pump, clamp it firmly, and secure the front of the feed inlet with 8 nuts of different sizes (to prevent it from floating and inhaling air), then place it in the feed bucket for later use [6].

Check whether the butterfly valves on the pipes connecting the dehumidifier and the aggregate bucket are open, whether the air valve on the spray tower is fully open, whether the spray cabin door is firmly closed, whether the quick installation clamps of the connecting pipes are correctly installed, whether the air outlet valve of the air compressor is open, whether the air vent valve is closed, and whether the air compression pipe is well connected.
Startup work program
Press the switch of the dehumidifier, close the air relay switch of the spray dryer, adjust the air outlet pressure of the air compressor to 0.25Mpa (pull out the black button and press it after adjustment), rotate the red emergency stop button clockwise, open the LCD operation screen, wait for 15S to automatically enter the operation interface, set the process parameters: the set temperature is 180 ℃, the lower limit temperature is 180 ℃, the upper limit temperature is 192 ℃, the temperature is between the set and the lower limit, the heating on time is 10s, the heating off time is 3s, the vibrator is set to vibrate 2S, stop 2-10S (refer to the accumulation of materials on the wall), if the solid content of substances such as water spraying is very low, the set temperature should be adjusted to 185-190 ℃, and the lower limit should be changed 185 ℃.
First, turn on the induced draft fan, dehumidifier, and electric heating switch (the automatic button for electric heating is turned on, otherwise the temperature will not jump off and will continue to heat when it reaches the set temperature), preheat the system, and keep the lighting on. When the monitored inlet temperature reaches the set temperature and the outlet temperature reaches between 80-90 degrees and the temperature is relatively stable, turn on the atomizer for 30 seconds, and then turn on the peristaltic pump switch in the interface to adjust the speed to between 12-18 degrees (adjusted according to the material). Start the peristaltic pump slowly in the early stage, and avoid introducing air through the exposed material pipe (the atomizer temperature is high, and the lack of new material cooling will cause a small amount of liquid to dry quickly and block the atomizer). The direction arrow on the atomizer points to "→", and press Start on the atomizer. Key, start wriggling and feeding. When the materials enter the atomizer to start spray, open the rapper (double air hammer), observe the atomization and air outlet temperature. If the air outlet temperature is higher than 90 degrees, slowly adjust the rotational speed of the peristaltic pump (0.5-2 each time), continue to observe the air outlet temperature to see whether it is stable. When the air outlet temperature drops to 86-88 degrees, it is a normal spray flow rate (depending on factors such as material viscosity, solid content, etc.), always observe the air outlet temperature, and adjust the optimal material flow rate (the empirical value is water spraying at 17-18, and the chicken paste is about 28 after being dissolved with 1:2 water).
Shutdown Sequence
After all the materials are sucked up, immediately put the feed pipe head into the cleaning bucket, clean the atomizer with water spray, adjust the rotational speed of the peristaltic pump to about 15 (the water is free of solids, which is difficult to spray dry), and observe whether the feed pipe is cleaned by tap water after 5 minutes, and then run for 2-3 minutes until the atomizer is cleaned. Turn off the peristaltic pump and open the clamp on the pump to allow the water inside to flow back into the bucket. Wait for 3-5 minutes until the remaining water is sprayed by the atomizer, then turn off the atomizer. When there is no fog, turn off the electric heating and vibration device and wait for natural cooling. When the inlet air temperature reaches below 150 ℃, the cabin door can be opened and the air pressure gun head can be aimed at the place where there is material accumulation inside to blow it down. Pay attention to the dead corners and aim at the bend of the bottom pipe to spray air to recover the material through the cyclone separator. After blowing the powder clean, close the cabin door and blow the material for 1 minute, then turn off the induced draft fan and dehumidifier. Close the butterfly valve at the discharge port, remove the collector, pour out the powder and bag it to prevent moisture.
Clean spray tower
Loosen the quick installation clamp on the official road on the right side of the collector, and then remove the clamp at the bottom of the spray tower to rotate this section of material pipe to one side, and place a large basin at the bottom of the spray tower to catch water. Start the atomizer and peristaltic pump, put the feed hose into the cleaning bucket to absorb water, press the Start key to start peristaltic water absorption, quickly adjust the rotation speed to 100 after starting spray, and clean the atomizer and internal bulkhead with maximum water spray for 3-5 minutes. According to the operating procedure, first turn off the peristaltic pump and drain the water from the material tube. After 2 minutes, turn off the atomizer, then press the emergency stop button to shut down and turn off the air relay switch in the control cabinet. Open the cabin door and connect a water pipe to flush the dirty parts of the interior cabin wall. Be careful not to pour water into the hole next to the top atomizer (to prevent water from flowing back into the heater), and flush the inner wall clean.
Clean the surrounding accessories
Remove the two material pipes connected to the cyclone separator, the butterfly valve at the discharge port, the collector, the clamp, and the silicone gasket, clean them all thoroughly, and then control the water to dry. When cleaning the cyclone separator, first remove the surrounding connecting accessories, and then be sure to turn off the outlet butterfly valve of the dehumidifier (to prevent water from flowing back into the dehumidifier). Align the water pipe with the inlet of the separator and flush it. Use a water basin to catch the water at the discharge outlet to prevent it from splashing into the dehumidifier and burning out the motor. Repeat the flushing several times in multiple angles until the effluent is colorless and clear. After all the accessories are drained, install the pipeline.
